The Texas "Secrets of InterPlay" Extended Week-end is happening Thursday evening August 25 through noon Monday August 29 at Earthsprings Retreat Center, near Crockett Texas.

This four day worship covers the body wisdom principles and practices of InterPlay that focus on leading an embodied life of wholeness, joy and new possibillities. This event involves presentation, play, reflection and direct application. The Secrets of InterPlay is part of the core curriculum for those enrolled in Level One of the InterPlay Leadership Program. This event is also for those desiring an in-depth introduction to the practice and philosophy of InterPlay.

Interplay events and programs allow you the opportunity to test the waters by just putting a couple of fingers or toes in. InterPlay is offered in three hour Playshops in three areas of Texas - FW/Dallas, Austin, and Houston. Click on the city for upcoming schedules of events.

All InterPlay activities consist of things any body can do, and each participant makes the choices that fit his or her situation and inclinations in the moment. You choose whether you will skim the surface, challenge your limitations, or dive deep. All activities are grounded in the principles of ease, grace, and fun!

The InterPlay Experience is offered on Friday evening and part of the following Saturday. This program focuses on the principles and practices of InterPlay with a gentle introduction to some of the activities. A wonderful way to realize that life doesn’t have to be sooo hard.

InterPlay Classes focus for several sessions on a particular aspect of InterPlay such as the Art of InterPlay, (Performance) or Vocal InterPlay (singing, and any sound a voice can do). Artists often combine their skills and knowledge of an art form with the principles and practices of InterPlay to present InterPlay Writing Playshops, Visual Art and InterPlay, etc. Keep checking this website for announcement of future offerings in Texas.

Body Wisdom Groups are small gatherings of people, who meet over several sessions to explore, and learn to trust, the wisdom of their own bodies. Confidence, (self) and confidences, (group) are developed, as well as wishes fulfilled, and prayers expressed and answered.

Leadership Program is for those who want the opportunity for ongoing development of their creativity, ability to express themselves in movement, story, and sound. The year long program includes two week long seminars, three focus sessions for each participant, A Secrets of InterPlay seminar, and monthly meetings of play and sharing.

Untensives are what we call the opportunity to practice the principles of InterPlay through fun, ease and grace in a week-end retreat-type setting. Untensives offer people the opportunity to get away from the stresses and demands of everyday life, connect to nature, and experience a playful and joyful community.

Body Spirit Celebrations focus on using InterPlay as a form of worship. Persons of all faiths and of no particular faith affiliation, are welcome to attend. InterPlay forms are used to celebrate all of human experience, body, mind, emotions and spirit – together at last. These events also connect participants to a larger reality as we “dance (or sing) on behalf of” persons and situations outside those present in need of help and healing

So, the offerings are numerous and variable. You can come for an evening, or you can stay for a lifetime!
